This website has been designed to allow users to compile their own draft basic elements of a proposed FIT law for their country or region (proposed law document).
The proposed law document will be created from the choices you make as you progress through the following features in the Access, Price and Supplementary Objectives sections of the site:
and will include definitions of terms used in a Definitions section.
Wherever you begin or end, the proposed law will be arranged into 10 pre-determined, titled and numbered sections, preceded by a title and preamble, and with a cover and contents page.
Each time you make a choice, the text against your choice will be automatically saved. If at any point you change your mind, and want to make a different choice, simply re-visit the relevant page and make the choice again.
If you make no choice for a particular feature where draft sample text has been provided, your document will identify the feature and state that “You have made no choice" for that feature.
Once you are finished, text will appear in a proposed law document, along with section numbers and titles, in an order and format that the user can see online, but cannot choose or amend online; but which the user can of course amend offline.
You may view and download the proposed law document at any stage.
